This past fall, the Cal Poly Alumni team visited local alumni-owned or affiliated businesses in downtown San Luis Obispo to deliver Cal Poly Proud window clings. This recent effort to connect with the community helped showcase many local alumni-owned businesses. 

"The goal is for our community of alumni, students, and parents to walk around downtown San Luis Obispo — and eventually any city in the U.S. — and see the successes of our alumni who have become business owners and entrepreneurs," said Jennifer Fanning (Recreation Administration, '01), senior director of alumni engagement.
