Alumni Impacting California and Beyond
Across the world Cal Poly alumni are making a difference, giving back and having an impact on their communities. More than ever, we want to share their stories.
Cal Poly Night with the San Francisco Giants
Over 1,500 alumni filled Oracle Park on Friday, July 12, during the first Cal Poly Night with the San Francisco Giants. All alumni attendees received limited-edition Cal Poly x Giants beanies to wear at the game — resulting in a sea of Cal Poly green and gold in the stands!
From Mott Gym to the Olympic Games
At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, alumnus Nate Ngo (Mathematics, ‘10) is taking Learn by Doing to the next level. As a technical coordinator for the U.S. Men’s National Team, Ngo's duties include tracking and analyzing statistics and scouting for the team. It’s a role he’s played in three consecutive Summer Olympics and one he prepared for as a student at Cal Poly.
