Russell P. Nash
(Business Administration, B.S., '82)
Russell P. Nash graduated in 1982 with a bachelor’s in business administration and obtained his CPA license in 1985. Nash worked for several major accounting firms in Los Angeles before moving to Sacramento in 1986 to follow his dream of starting his own company. Nash has pursued several types of entrepreneurial endeavors during his career, including real estate, financial planning and business services. In 1992, Nash founded Professional Education Services (PES), offering continuing education to CPAs, with his brother Steve Nash (Business Administration, ’85). Nash enjoys working with young startup companies and is an active supporter of the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, of which he currently sits on the Board of Directors, in addition to being a Founders Circle Member. When he’s not working with PES, Nash enjoys working on his real estate ventures, in business development and investing. He and his wife Kim (Journalism, ’82) have three children, Kyle, Austin and Courtney.
