Cal Poly alumni and friends are invited to gather for a pregame mixer ahead of Cal Poly Baseball's NCAA Los Angeles Regional game against Virginia Tech on Friday, May 29, at UCLA. The mixer will take place from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Barney's Beanery. Tickets include light appetizers, one drink ticket, and an opportunity to mingle with Athletic Director Carter Henderson, Cal Poly Athletics staff and Cal Poly Alumni.
Opened in 1920 as a small chili stand, Barney’s Beanery has become a casual mainstay in Los Angeles and a gem of Hollywood lore. Imagine a diner, a local pub, a sports bar and a rock 'n' roll refuge mixed all together in a cast-iron chili pot, and you get Barney’s Beanery.
Ticket Prices:
- $15 per person
- $5 for youth under 15
Adult tickets include one drink ticket, light appetizers and Cal Poly swag. Youth tickets include light appetizers and Cal Poly swag. The game is sold out, and no game tickets will be available at this event.
Tickets must be purchased in advance; tickets will not be sold at the door. Ticket sales are limited.
