Cal Poly Alumni — Seattle Community Founders Day Celebration
The Cal Poly Alumni — Seattle Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 1 p.m., at Stoup Brewery Capitol Hill (1158 Broadway, Seattle WA 98122).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia! You will also have the opportunity to hear from leaders on the Cal Poly Alumni Association Board of Directors and volunteers from the Cal Poly Alumni Association.
Drinks and food are no-host but please register for a special swag item. This family-friendly event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters and guests.
Space is limited. Secure your spot by Thursday, March 6.
