Cal Poly Alumni — San Francisco Community Founders Day Celebration
The Cal Poly Alumni — San Francisco Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 1 p.m., at Barebottle Beer Garden at Salesforce Park (4th Level, 425 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94105)
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia!
Tickets are $20 and include Joyride Pizza, one beverage and a special swag item. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters and guests of all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The venue is outdoors so please dress accordingly.
Space is limited. Secure your spot bynoon on Thursday, March 6.
