Cal Poly Alumni — San Diego Community New Student Send-Off
The Cal Poly Alumni — San Diego Community is excited to welcome the newest cohort of Mustangs from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24, at Kate Sessions Neighborhood Park (5115 Soledad Rd, San Diego, CA 92109).
Alumni — do you remember the excitement and anticipation of starting your first quarter at Cal Poly? Bring that energy and wisdom to share with the newest additions to the Mustang family while connecting with fellow alumni.
Incoming students — do you want to know the best places to eat, study and hang out at Cal Poly? Meet alumni from different programs and colleges and ask them your burning questions! Oh, and did we mention this event is FREE for you?
Parents and supporters — are you looking for ways to celebrate and support your student? Get to know the local alumni network that helps graduates stay connected to each other and Cal Poly.
Cal Poly alumni, incoming students and supporters can mix and mingle while enjoying the San Diego summer sun and light snacks and beverages. Wear your green and gold and celebrate this exciting milestone for new students.
Tickets are $20 for adults and include taquito appetizers, rice, beans and non-alcoholic beverage options. Incoming students attend at no cost! Guests are also welcome to bring their own non-alcoholic beverages and food items. Event proceeds will help cover the cost of swag bags for new students so they can arrive at Cal Poly showing their Mustang pride!
Tickets are on sale through Wednesday, Aug. 20, or until sold out.
