Cal Poly Alumni — San Diego Community Mead Tasting
Join the Cal Poly Alumni — San Diego Community for a mead tasting and networking on Tuesday, June 3, at alumni-owned Lost Cause Meadery at the Gärten in San Diego (5328 Banks St., Suite B, San Diego, CA 92110).
Gather with fellow Mustangs starting at 5:30 p.m. to mix, mingle and bring the Cal Poly Pride as alumni owner Billy Beltz (History, '02) walks us through tasting a flight of award-winning craft meads in the heart of San Diego. Mead is made with honey and is the most versatile alcoholic beverage, ranging from sweet to bone dry.
The mead tasting and Cassette pizza will be available to Cal Poly alumni, friends and supporters ages 21 and older. Pizza and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for all ages.
Tickets to this event are limited. Register to attend by Monday, June 2.
