Cal Poly alumni in the greater Phoenix area are invited to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m., at Pedal Haus Brewery (730 S Mill Ave #102, Tempe, AZ 85281).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia!
Drinks and food are no-host but please register for a special swag item. This family-friendly event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters and guests.
