Cal Poly Alumni — Orange County Community Founders Day Celebration
The Cal Poly Alumni — Orange County Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m., at Hangar 24 Orange County (17877 Von Karman Ave Unit 110, Irvine, CA 92614).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia! You will also have the opportunity to hear from volunteers from the Cal Poly Alumni Association.
Tickets are $10 and include one beverage and a special swag item. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni and guests.
Space is limited. Secure your spot byFriday, March 7.
