Cal Poly Alumni — North Bay Community Founders Day Celebration
The Cal Poly Alumni — North Bay Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 1 p.m., at Black Kite Cellars (12747 El Camino Bodega, Freestone, CA 95472).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia! You will also be able to hear from volunteers and leaders from the Cal Poly Alumni Association.
Tickets are $40 and include charcuterie, a variety of wines to taste and a special swag item. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters and guests ages 21+.
Space is limited. Secure your spot by 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6.
