Join fellow Nashville Mustangs to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Friday, March 8, at 5:30 p.m., at Golden Pony (757 Douglas Ave, Nashville, TN 37207).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia! You will also have the opportunity to hear from one of our Cal Poly Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Tickets are $5 and include a limited edition Cal Poly alumni hat. Food and beverages are available for purchase. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni and guests of all ages.
Space is limited. Secure your spot by noon on Friday, March 7.
We hope to see you there!
