Cal Poly Alumni — Los Angeles Community (West) Founders Day Celebration
The Cal Poly Alumni — Los Angeles Community (West) invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 5 p.m., at El Segundo Brewery (140 Main St, El Segundo, CA, 90245).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia!
Tickets are $15 and include appetizers, one beverage and a special swag item. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters and guests.
