Cal Poly Alumni — Denver Community Founders Day Celebration
The Cal Poly Alumni — Denver Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 5 p.m., at Improper City (3201 Walnut St, Denver, CO 80205).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
Alumni are throwing it back this year — wind up your disposable cameras, break out your vintage Cal Poly gear and get ready to share in your nostalgia! You will also have the opportunity to hear from volunteer leaders from the Cal Poly Alumni Association.
Tickets are $15 and include a special Cal Poly swag item and one drink ticket. Food and additional beverages will be available for purchase at the brewery. The group will meet at the Mega Lounge on the main level. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters and guests.
Space is limited. Secure your spot bynoon on Thursday, March 6.
