community through two programs – Fall Launch and Week of Welcome (WOW). Both programs provide students with the opportunity to learn more about their fellow classmates, campus and the surrounding community.

celebrate Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 15 with the CPAA Wine Tasting and all ages Mustang Corral BBQ on the O’Neill Green, followed by Mustang Football in Spano Stadium.

SOAR Introduces Students to College Transition

More than 3,500 new students and 600 families participated in Cal Poly's Student Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR) program in August.

Participants were introduced to the university's academic expectations, campus resources and college transition. It is one of three events Orientation Programs offers new students and families to prepare them for college.
