Everyone Can Travel with Cal Poly Alumni
You don't have to be a member of the Alumni Association to travel with CPAA -- parents, university friends and the community are welcome to join us! CPAA's Travel program is proving increasingly popular, and we currently host 2 -3 programs annually.
In addition to serving the travel needs of our alumni, these programs are open to members of the community as an outreach effort of Cal Poly. Our upcoming travel destinations are listed below. We hope you will plan to travel with us! Thank you for considering the Cal Poly Alumni Association for your travel plans. We welcome you to join us as we explore exciting and beautiful places around the world.
The Cal Poly Alumni Association is offering the opportunity to travel and learn in partnership with Cal Poly Continuing Education and University Outreach. We chose Alumni Holidays International (AHI), the leader in college and university alumni travel, as our travel partner. AHI brings to our partnership the knowledge and local contacts necessary to ensure an outstanding travel experience. Travel experts who utilize years of experience in designing creative itineraries research all programs. These itineraries provide a strong connection to the places and cultures we visit.

Trips planned for 2009:
China and Yangtze River
April 29-May 11, 2009
We'll tour Beijing's Imperial Palaces and the Great Wall, see Xi'an's Terra Cotta Warriors, and the Bund in Shanghai. The trip also features a special look at Chinese culture with a Hutong Pedicab Tour and a traditional Peking Opera performance. We'll cruise the Yangtze River aboard the MV Yangtze President, and much more!
Tuscany-Cortona
September 16-24, 2009
Return with us to Cortona, where we first began our travel program in 2004, and celebrate this anniversary with us. The inspiration for Frances Mayes' book, "Under the Tuscan Sun," Cortona captures the charm of Italian country living. Visit Assisi, Siena, Florence, and Perugia, and enjoy the local wines with a winery visit to Montalcino.
